Sandra Butchko
Right here in Highland Village, TX is a metal clay artist who teaches jewelry making classes to experts and beginners, and anyone in between. Sandra has spent her entire life creating new and unique things. She started out making macramé beads and selling them, then later began supplying the bisque ware for “paint your own pottery” crafts. Las Vegas is where Sandra experienced a metal clay demo for the first time and fell in love with it. She then became a certified Class I instructor, and then a Senior Instructor.
Sandra has been teaching Metal Clay for more than 20 years. She also has a CO2 laser, which enables her to create designs for beautiful pieces of jewelry and more. Sandra lived in Hawaii for many years, so much of her inspiration for jewelry design is derived from her love of the ocean.
Sandra’s goal is to “Free the Artist in You”. She invites everyone to explore their creative side in a Silver Metal Clay jewelry class. She loves helping others ctreate something unique and beautiful.
Sandra is a mother of two. She lives in Highland Village, TX near her son, daughter-in-law and two grandsons.
Holly Holbrook
Jewelry making classes are one of the best ways to stretch and find a new element to your creativity. It’s so fun to wear your own handcrafted jewelry designs. Creativity is important to Holly, who is a lifelong crafter and creative person. She doesn’t consider herself a professional at anything, but loves trying new things. Lately, her hobby has been creating things digitally (like this website!)
She enjoys making jewelry with Sandra and learning more about metal clay and other fun types of jewelry projects.

About Our Materials
For our silver jewelry, we use .999 Fine Silver Metal Clay (pure silver). This means it contains no alloys. Fine silver is softer and doesn’t tarnish like sterling silver does. It is also anti-bacterial. Fine Silver Metal Clay originated in Japan and was recycled silver. It is made up of a fine silver powder, an organic binder and water. The binder is burned out by using either a torch or a kiln, and then the artist is left with a beautiful silver creation. When using the clay, the artist sculpts it, molds it, or uses textures or templates to make their design. For the copper and bronze, we use copper metal clay and bronze metal clay.
Our wood is Baltic Birch wood and we also use fine hard woods (walnut, teak, mahogany) in small amounts as supply is limited. We use natural stones, crystal, glass and organic beads.
